  • The 2nd edition of the Mediterranean Beach Games was held in Patras from 25 to 31 August 2019 with the participation of all the 24 member nations of the International Committee for the Mediterranean Games.

    A total of 651 athletes competed in 11 sports: Aquathlon, Beach rowing, Beach soccer, Beach volleyball, Canoe ocean racing, Beach handball, Beach wrestling, Fin swimming, Open water swimming, Water skiing, Beach tennis.

    Greece topped the medal table with 19 gold and 46 in total. Italy was second with 15 gold medals and France third with 13.
